POSITION SUMMARY​

The Floor Attendant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Front of House service. This includes managing customer service and assigned sections, ensuring the sequence of service is followed according to standards, maintaining food and beverage quality, and fostering effective teamwork.

  • Knowledge of wine and Asian cuisine is preferred but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES​

  • Checklists: Complete the OMP opening and closing checklists, ensuring the most up-to-date versions are clearly displayed in the designated areas at all times.

  • Customer Complaints: Take responsibility for handling customer complaints during your shift, aiming to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience. Always inform the manager of any complaints and follow their guidance on how to proceed. All complaints must be communicated to the manager on duty.

  • Wine Service: Build your understanding of wine service and develop basic wine knowledge.

  • Opening & Closing the Venue: Ensure the venue is set up and closed in line with visual merchandising guidelines, including correct lighting, music, cleanliness, staff uniforms, and table settings.

  • Deep Clean: Participate in the regular deep cleaning of Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) areas every two weeks, as directed by the Restaurant Managers.

  • Food & Beverage Knowledge: Attend all training sessions or group workshops to enhance your knowledge of the menu and beverage options.

  • Teamwork: Work together with your colleagues to cultivate a positive, enjoyable atmosphere for both staff and guests.
